NITK Sneha is a not-for-profit initiative of the alumni of the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK).

The Trust was registered in 2007 as a small effort to support the family of a dear friend and batchmate after his passing. When our humble efforts helped his children complete their education and find gainful employment, the founding members saw that the vast network of NITK alumni could help make a difference to the larger community.

In 2018, the Trust was repurposed into a larger education initiative for underprivileged children. Since then, we have built a track record of imparting high-quality education by working with ‘best of breed’ education delivery partners, supported by a solid team of NITK Alumni volunteers.

'Sneha' embodies the spirit of camaraderie and fellowship we experienced during our formative years while at NITK. As successful engineers, managers, entrepreneurs, academicians and, most importantly, family members, we have the knowledge and experience to draw on for giving back to society.

We hope to build a sustained and scalable social project with transformative impact.
